Why attend SpeakEasy: Monika found SpeakEasy when she first moved to Prague and didn’t know anyone – she was looking for a place to make new friends. Tips on how to learn a language: Monika first learned English at school, but found that dating a native English speaker really pushed her to advance in expressing herself fully in another language, and has become second nature.  She also wrote her thesis in English and leaned a little Portuguese because of her passion for Capoeira.

Personal: Monika loves her job, which is her main hobby and wants to go back to practicing Capoeira, which she really enjoyed. She also plays boardgames in is into geeky movies.
